Crafting is an integral part of the game. You can craft new items or upgrade them by combining similar items into new items via the crafting screen. Some recipes will require an additional crafting component like power gems. Recipes unlock when you have at least one of the items required for the recipe. Pets can also be upgraded via the crafting screen. Crafting also requires some gold per craft.
